Setting up TVPikoma on LG Smart TV, one step at a time
Go to the LG store
Press the Home key on the Magic Remote and pick Apps. Sets from a few years back label the store LG Content Store instead. Choose the search symbol along the top. Downloads need an LG account, so sign in when prompted or create an account on a phone first.
Choose IPTV Smarters Pro or Smart IPTV
Type the name and install your preferred player. IPTV Smarters Pro delivers a complete guide and signs in with Xtream details. Smart IPTV is lighter and browses briskly, but it needs a one-off activation when the trial finishes. After the install, start the player from the ribbon along the bottom of the home screen.
Connect TVPikoma
Inside IPTV Smarters Pro, select Login with Xtream Codes API and fill in the three details sent on WhatsApp. With Smart IPTV the route is different: visit siptv.app/mylist on a phone, type the MAC address the television shows, paste the M3U link, tick Detect EPG and submit.
Browse groups with the Magic Remote
Close and reopen the player so the whole list loads. Aim the pointer at the category column and roll the scroll wheel, which beats pressing arrow keys through thousands of rows. Open the group for your home country, then save channels you watch every day, such as news and serials, to Favourites.
Confirm time and time zone
The guide relies on the television clock. On webOS 6 and later, open All Settings, General, System, Time & Date. On earlier sets, Time & Date appears straight under General. Keep automatic time switched on and check the zone, so programmes made abroad show start times in your local time.
Set the menu language
On webOS 6 or newer, choose All Settings, General, System, Language and then Menu Language. On webOS 5 and older, Language is found directly inside General. Audio and subtitle language settings there affect broadcast TV, while player apps pick soundtracks from their own playback menu.
Plug in a cable for 4K
Nearly every LG set has a network socket on the rear panel. A cable holds 4K streams far better than the built-in wireless and keeps the picture calm while other screens in the house are busy. Reserve 4K for channels that offer it and use HD elsewhere.
Give a second viewer their own profile
When another relative has a separate TVPikoma login, IPTV Smarters Pro can hold both. Open the user list from the dashboard, add a new user and enter the second details. Each profile then keeps its own favourites, which avoids a list where home news, cartoons and cooking channels from three countries all crowd together.
Compare 4K and HD on your own set
Many channels come in more than one quality. Open the same channel in 4K and in HD, and watch each for a minute. On a 43 or 50 inch set viewed from the sofa, HD often looks nearly identical and starts faster. Keep 4K for large screens and a fast wired connection.
LG Smart TV not working? Fixes for the usual problems
Audio plays over a black screen
Go into the player settings and choose another decoder or player type, for instance the native option. If a 4K channel still shows nothing, open the HD copy of that channel instead, since older LG chips cope with it more easily.
The LG store has no IPTV player
Make sure the country and time zone in the location settings match where you actually live, then search again, because the store changes with region. If the player is still absent, ask TVPikoma support on WhatsApp which app works on your webOS version.
The player loses the list after a restart
Some webOS builds wipe app data when storage fills up. Uninstall apps you no longer open and sign in again. For Smart IPTV, ticking Save online on siptv.app/mylist stores the playlist on the developer server rather than in TV memory.
One country shows the wrong programme times
Begin by checking the clock under Time & Date. If local channels are correct but a foreign group is not, look for EPG Timeshift in the player settings where offered, and move it by whole hours until listings agree with the picture.
The Xtream login fails on the LG keyboard
Pointer typing is quick but easy to misplace by one key. Retype the server URL and confirm it starts with http:// and ends with the port. Keep the password case exactly as sent. If the TV offers autofill from an earlier attempt, clear it and type fresh.
The player hangs on its loading screen
Unplug the television from the wall for a minute, which clears memory more thoroughly than the standby button. Reopen the player. If it still hangs, check for a player update in the LG store, or reinstall it and sign in again with your TVPikoma details.
Channel logos are missing
Logos load from the playlist separately from the video, and slow connections sometimes skip them. Give the player a few minutes after the first sync, then restart it. Missing logos do not affect playback, and most players fill them in over the next session.

Which webOS versions run IPTV player apps?
Today, IPTV Smarters Pro and Smart IPTV both install on LG sets running webOS 3.0 or later, which includes most models from 2016 onwards. The much older NetCast televisions are limited to a legacy Smart IPTV release. The TV information screen inside settings shows your version, so check it before installing.
Will 4K channels play well on an LG TV?
Yes, as long as the set has a 4K panel and your connection sustains roughly 25 Mbps for the stream. Choose Ethernet where you can and leave the player on its native or hardware decoder. TVPikoma provides 4K, FHD and HD streams, so dropping to HD on a slow evening keeps the channel on air.
Does the LG Magic Remote work with IPTV player apps?
Yes. Its pointer clicks channels directly, and the scroll wheel races through long group lists. Number keys do not always jump to channels inside third-party players, so Favourites is the quickest way to reach the few home-country channels you open daily.
Can I show channel names in Arabic or Hindi on an LG TV?
Channel names display as the broadcaster and playlist provide them, and webOS renders most scripts, Arabic and Devanagari included. Switching the TV menu language does not translate channel names. If a name appears as empty boxes, update the TV software, since recent builds ship wider font coverage.
Is LG Channels a replacement for an IPTV plan?
Not really. LG Channels is a free, advertising-funded service inside LG televisions, and its line-up depends on the country the set is registered in. Do I need a separate app for films and series on an LG TV?
