Setting up TVPikoma on Apple TV and iPhone, one step at a time
Visit the App Store
On Apple TV, select the blue App Store tile on the home screen. On iPhone or iPad, open the App Store and tap Search at the bottom. Purchases on Apple TV and iPhone are installed separately, so repeat the download on each device you intend to watch on.
Get Smarters Player Lite
Search the exact name and look at the developer line, which should say WHMCS SMARTERS, before tapping Get. A crowd of unrelated apps uses Smarters or TiViMate in their titles, so the publisher is the only reliable check. The download is small and finishes in seconds.
Enter your TVPikoma login
Open the player, select the Xtream Codes sign-in and supply the username, password and server URL. On an iPhone, copy each value from the WhatsApp chat and paste it, which removes typing errors. On Apple TV, the Siri Remote keyboard works, and a nearby iPhone can also offer to type on its behalf.
Switch on Match Content
On Apple TV, go to Settings, Video and Audio, Match Content. Enable both Match Dynamic Range and Match Frame Rate. Programmes produced at 50 fps, standard across much of Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East, then play without the gentle judder introduced by a fixed 60 Hz output.
Group channels by the countries you follow
Browse the live categories, which TVPikoma arranges by country and language, and mark the channels you visit most as favourites. They then sit together in one short list. On an Apple TV shared by the family, agree on one favourites list, or give each person a separate profile within the player where it supports profiles.
Check language and time zone on the device
On Apple TV, the menu language setting is found in Settings, General. On iPhone and iPad, open Settings, General, Language & Region, then confirm the zone under Date & Time. Guide listings take their times from the device clock, so a correct zone shows programmes from home at your local hour.
Throw a channel to the TV with AirPlay
Watching on the iPhone first? Tap the AirPlay symbol inside the player and choose your Apple TV or an AirPlay-compatible television on the same network. For a long film or a full evening of programmes, running the player on the Apple TV itself gives a steadier result than casting from a phone.
Keep VLC as a backup player
VLC is free in the App Store for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. It can open your TVPikoma M3U link as a network stream, which is useful when the main player is updating or a stream misbehaves. VLC has no full programme guide, so treat it as a spare rather than your everyday app.
Apple TV and iPhone not working? Fixes for the usual problems
The list loads but nothing plays
Look in the player settings for a playback engine option and try another, such as a VLC or FFmpeg based engine where offered. A handful of streams use formats that the standard Apple player struggles with.
The app does not resemble these steps
A lookalike app has probably been installed. Remove it, search again and pick the listing published by WHMCS SMARTERS. Nothing changes on your TVPikoma account, and the login works in the genuine app immediately.
AirPlay keeps losing the picture
AirPlay leans on home Wi-Fi twice: once to fetch the stream and again to pass it to the television. Sit nearer the router, or run the player on Apple TV directly. Switching off Low Data Mode for your Wi-Fi network on the iPhone can help too.
Guide times look shifted on the iPhone
Open Settings, General, Date & Time and enable Set Automatically. When you fly between countries, the iPhone updates its zone on landing and the listings follow. For one country that still looks wrong, use an EPG time shift option if your player offers it.
The App Store says the app is unavailable
App availability follows the country of your Apple Account, not where you are standing. If you moved abroad and never changed the account region, some listings may not appear. Search again for Smarters Player Lite by exact name, or ask TVPikoma support on WhatsApp for another App Store player that suits your region.
Playback stops when the iPhone screen locks
Players generally pause live video once the phone locks, unless they support picture in picture or background audio. Leave the screen on while watching, plug in the charger for long sessions, or send the stream to Apple TV with AirPlay so the phone is free.
The screen flashes black when a channel starts
That short blank moment is Apple TV switching frame rate or dynamic range to match the channel, which Match Content does on purpose. It lasts a second or two. If the flashing bothers you more than judder, turn off Match Frame Rate under Settings, Video and Audio, Match Content.

IPTV on Apple TV and iPhone: frequently asked questions
Is there a TiViMate app for Apple TV or iPhone?
No. TiViMate has only ever been built for Android TV, Google TV and Fire OS, with no release for tvOS or iOS. Apps in the App Store with similar names belong to other companies. On Apple hardware, use Smarters Player Lite or another App Store player, or connect a Google TV device when TiViMate is essential.
Is Apple TV 4K a good choice for IPTV?
Among the best available. Apple TV 4K handles 4K HDR without strain, changes frame rate per channel once Match Content is switched on, and the version with Ethernet sidesteps wireless dips. Wire it to the router when they are close, and keep the HD version of a channel in mind for busy evenings.
Can I watch TVPikoma on a MacBook or iMac as well?
Yes. Macs with Apple silicon can install Smarters Player Lite from the Mac App Store and log in with Xtream details. Every Mac, old or new, can also open the TVPikoma M3U link in VLC or IINA without any sign-in screen. The PC and Mac guide walks through both methods, guide data included.
Will my iPhone player work when I travel back home?
Yes. The player needs only an internet connection, so your login works on hotel Wi-Fi or mobile data in another country. Channels from 60+ countries load wherever you are. Keep an eye on roaming allowances, because an HD stream uses gigabytes each hour, and lower the quality when the signal is weak.
Can an iPad and an Apple TV play different channels at once?
Yes, when your plan covers at least two devices. Each screen uses one stream, so a child can watch cartoons in one language on the iPad while parents follow news from home on Apple TV. On a 1-device plan, starting the iPad stops the television, so pick the 2, 3 or 5 device plan for busy homes.
Is an older Apple TV HD still fine for IPTV?
Yes, for HD viewing. The Apple TV HD runs current players and handles FHD and HD channels well, which covers most news and drama from abroad. It cannot output 4K, so 4K streams play at lower resolution. Connect it by Ethernet for the steadiest picture on busy evenings.
