How to set up M3U playlist with TVPikoma
Copy the M3U link
Look in your activation message. The address follows the pattern http://host:port/get.php?username=...&password=...&type=m3u_plus. Guard it like a password, since whoever holds the link can use your account and its stream allowance.
Add it to your player
In VLC, choose Media, Open Network Stream and paste it. In Kodi, install the PVR IPTV Simple Client add-on and enter the link as its M3U playlist URL. For Smart IPTV, upload it on siptv.app/mylist. TiViMate and Smarters also take the link through their own M3U options.
Provide the guide address when requested
A few players want a separate EPG link. It sits on the same server, swaps get.php for xmltv.php and carries your login inside the address. Ask support on WhatsApp and they send the exact version, so there is no need to assemble it yourself.
See how groups are formed
Each channel entry in an M3U file includes a group-title tag, and players read it to build categories. TVPikoma fills that tag by country and language. A player that understands group titles shows Arabic, Indian or German channels as neat folders rather than one endless scroll.
Set the guide to your time zone
Listings normally follow the device clock, so check the zone there first. In Kodi, the PVR IPTV Simple Client provides an EPG time shift setting ranging from minus 12 to plus 14 hours for guides that still look wrong. Many other players hide a similar offset inside their EPG settings.
Keep a very long list under control
The complete playlist runs to thousands of entries. Hide unneeded groups inside your player, or ask support whether a playlist trimmed to your countries is available, so the channels you care about open without delay.
Refresh the playlist on a schedule
Channel line-ups change, so a player should reload the link from time to time rather than keeping an old copy. In TiViMate and Smarters, set playlist updates in the settings. In Kodi, the Simple Client refreshes when Kodi starts. VLC reads the link fresh each time you open it, which keeps it current.
Load the link into IPTV Smarters Pro
On the first Smarters screen, choose the M3U option, give the playlist a name such as TVPikoma and paste the link. Smarters then builds groups from the group titles. If the player offers Xtream as well, that route is usually faster, but M3U works on builds where it is the only choice.
Match guide entries to channels
Each channel line also carries a tvg-id value that links it to guide data. When a player shows listings on the wrong channel, the tags or guide source are out of step. Reload both the playlist and the guide, and report the affected channel names to support so the mapping can be checked.

The playlist takes forever to open
Players without category support choke on long lists. Move to a player that reads group titles, such as TiViMate or IPTV Smarters Pro, or ask support about a shorter playlist.
Channels play briefly, then cut out
Ask support whether the ts or m3u8 output works better with your player, because the link supports both. Also confirm that no other screen is already using the stream allowance on your plan.
Channel names show question marks or boxes
The player is reading the file with the wrong text encoding. Pick a player with UTF-8 support, which nearly every modern one has, or update the app. VLC, Kodi, TiViMate and Smarters all show non-Latin scripts properly.
Kodi lists no channels after adding the link
Restart Kodi once the add-on settings are saved, because the client reads the playlist only at start-up. Then go to TV, Channels. If it is still empty, confirm the add-on is enabled and the URL has no extra spaces.
The browser downloads a file instead of playing
That is expected. A web browser treats an M3U link as a document to save, not as television. Paste the link into a player such as VLC or Kodi instead. If the downloaded file opens in a text editor, you are simply looking at the channel list itself.
Only part of the playlist appears
Some players stop reading very large files or time out on slow connections. Wait for the load to complete, then retry on a wired connection. If the list is still cut short, switch to an Xtream login in a player that supports it, which loads sections separately.
Kodi shows channels but an empty guide
The PVR IPTV Simple Client needs the guide address entered separately in its EPG settings. Paste the xmltv link from support, save, then restart Kodi and allow a few minutes. Clearing the guide data in the Kodi PVR settings forces a clean reload if old listings remain.

How is M3U different from M3U8?
Both describe playlists. M3U8 is M3U saved in UTF-8 encoding, which copes with channel names in any alphabet, and it is also the playlist format used by HLS streaming. Nearly every IPTV player opens both, so the TVPikoma link works regardless of which label the app displays.
What makes shared M3U lists fail so fast?
Shared lists are usually unlicensed streams copied between thousands of strangers. They are removed or overwhelmed within days, often just before a popular broadcast. Your personal TVPikoma M3U link belongs to your own paid account, so it keeps working and support can step in if a problem appears.
Can I edit the M3U file to keep only my countries?
You can, though it rarely pays off. A saved copy stops updating when channels change, so it breaks over time. Hiding groups inside a player that reads group titles is simpler and always current. If you still want a slimmer list, ask support instead of editing links by hand.
Does the M3U link include films and series too?
The m3u_plus link can include on-demand titles alongside live channels, which makes the file far bigger. Simple players like VLC then mix films in with channels. For browsing the 120,000+ film and series library, an Xtream login in Smarters or TiViMate is much tidier.
Can I open my M3U link on a phone?
Yes. VLC for Android and VLC for iPhone both open network stream links, and IPTV Smarters Pro accepts an M3U playlist too. A phone is handy for checking a channel quickly while travelling. Remember that the phone uses one device slot on your plan while it plays.
Does my M3U link change when I renew?
Normally not. Renewing extends the same account, so the username, password and link stay valid. The link only changes when support resets your password or moves the account, and in that case you receive the new link on WhatsApp and paste it into each player again.
Is a personal M3U link the same as a free playlist?
No. A free playlist found online is usually a copy of unlicensed streams shared with strangers, and it breaks quickly. Your TVPikoma link is generated for your paid account, carries your own stream allowance and comes with support. Never post it publicly, because others could use your streams.
